PHLEBOCOURSE ITALY. After years of experience in organizing conference in the form of Hands on Training and residential courses on endovascular treatment of varicose veins with laser and sclerofoam, with the experience gained in phlebological medical training, PHLEBOCOURSE ITALY was born.
Its purpose is to produce and disseminate quality scientific content on topics relevant to Phlebology and Vascular Ultrasound, to help physicians and surgeons to practice vascular diagnostics and related surgical techniques at a high level throughout Italy to foster professional growth and ensure the best care for their patients, using all available techniques for the treatment of varicose veins based on proper clinical and diagnostic framing.
In this way, knowledge can be fostered in a consistent and ethical manner, in a continuous manner aligned with the evolution of available technologies for the treatment of varicose veins.
PHLEBOCOURSE ITALY is developed in presential form and ranges from functional to aesthetic phlebology. PHLEBOCOURSE IS A TOTAL PRACTICAL COURSE with only few theorical informations. It is developed in modules:
1. Phlebological diagnostics (Echocolor Doppler, transillumination);
2. Venous vascular accesses (live and with simulators);
3. Functional treatments with sclerofoam with and without ultrasound;
4. Functional treatments with thermoablative techniques (Laser);
5. Functional treatments with non - thermal ablative techniques (Phlebogrif, Glue, ...);
6. Aesthetic phlebology treatments with sclerofoam, laser and diathermocoagulation.
DATES: First edition on March 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15, 2024; the 14th is dedicated to Lymphedema, the 15th to Vulnology.
Second edition on October 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - 11, 2024; the 10th is dedicated to Lymphedema, the 11th to Vulnology.

During the Course, all colleagues will personally perform the diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Ad hoc presentations on chronic venous disease will be given, and each treatment will be discussed in detail to highlight the most relevant aspects that allow deciding the best technique for each individual case.
PHLEBOCOURSE ITALY takes place within the Vein Clinic of Dr. Christian Baraldi, Course Director, in an atmosphere of friendship, knowledge and development of new skills. There will be medical outpatient clinics and a surgical outpatient clinic dedicated exclusively to the management of chronic venous disease; thus, there will be outpatient clinics for phlebologic examinations, advanced medication room, outpatient clinics for transdermal laser and surgical and non - surgical endovascular treatments. For educational activities, the Vein Clinic has a multimedia room for 35 people connected by audio - video with the surgical room and other outpatient clinics. It is a complete facility at the service of our patients and colleagues who wish to expand their abilities in phlebology.
PHLEBOCOURSE is available in the following forms (comprehensive and individual courses):
1. Complete phlebology (from diagnostics to functional and aesthetic treatments);
2. Aesthetic phlebology (laser and sclerofoam);
3. Vascular echocolor Doppler diagnostics of the lower and upper limbs;
4. Vascular accesses (echoguided and with transilumination);
5. Echoguided sclerofoam;
6. Transdermal and microfiber lasers;
7. Treatments with MOCA;
THE LYMPHOLOGY MODULE includes, apart from theory:
1. Multilayer bandaging in lymphedema
2. Postural and podiatric alterations in lymphedema
3. Motivational counseling and self-care
MEDICAL-PHYSIOTHERAPEUTIC ADDRESS
1. Combined Decongestive Therapy
2. Appropriate use of the Velcro brace (Circaid)
3. Postoperative rehabilitation
NURSING ADDRESS
1. Assessment of the patient with lymphedema in the nursing setting
2. Management of lymphatic and venous ulcers

THE VULNOLOGY MODULE includes, apart from theory:
Guidelines for the day are: Use of Ozoyle and devices useful in the treatment of ulcers. Practical session in outpatient clinic 2 hours.
At the end of the course is provided:
1.Certificate of training on wound dressing;
2.Practice on advanced treatments of difficult ulcers;
3.Knowledge and experience in strategy and point of view optimization.
Each module of the FLEBOCORSO is accessible on a limited number basis for a total of 10 participants.
